About Me

I am Tulli Ariyaratne. I pursued my PhD in Science education with a minor in instruction design technology at Indiana University – Bloomington. Science is often taught as a boring subject and many complain that science is boring. Throughout my doctoral studies and after I graduated, I tried to make the science learning process “less boring” and “more fun”. More than anything I am delighted to design and deliver science content to disabled middle school students in Ohio. Born and raised in the poorest remote region of Sri Lanka, I flew a half of the world to achieve my goals. That journey was not an easy one. Life is not an easy ride for many young individuals. Especially it was harder for marginalize population. There are many ways to success, but education is one of the best ways a learner can achieve their success. I belive I dedicated my life to educate young adults.
